Mountain Falls Golf Club

Award-winning Mountain Falls Golf Course opened in 2002 and was designed by two companies. Nicklaus Design Group created the front nine and Cal Olson Design created the back. Each nine offers challenging yet friendly golf in a beautiful setting surrounded by mountains, natural springs, and desert views. The rating/slope of this 6101 to 7082-yard course ranges from 68.8/119 to 71.4/127. It accommodates both beginners and experienced players.
In 2015, Mountain Falls received several awards. It was ranked:
- number 5 out of top 20 courses in Nevada
- number 16 out of top 25 friendliest courses in the US
- number 24 out of top 25 for off-course amenities in the US
- number 5 out of the top 25 value courses in the US
Playable year-round, it is a soft spike facility where appropriate golf attire is required (no denim). The men’s group plays on Tuesday mornings while the ladies play on Wednesday mornings. You may walk the course if you so desire.
The club amenities offered include a grill restaurant and bar, driving range, and a fully equipped pro shop. It is a public course which offers frequent player programs to satisfy the avid golfers.
Special events such as weddings and other celebrations can be booked at the grill, and the golf course can be booked for corporate, association, or charity golf outings.

Lake View Executive Golf Course

Lake View Executive Golf Course has been voted “the best Executive or Midsize Course in Nevada.” It is comprised of five par 4’s and thirteen par 3’s and offers up a challenge. Walking the course allows you an opportunity to enjoy nature and get some additional exercise while you play.
Although it is a public course, memberships or passes are available at varying levels. The course was designed by William F. Bell and opened in 1979. It prides itself on great golf and excellent service. It is open year-round and ranges from 3222 to 3518 yards. The rating/slope ranges from 57.60/80 to 58.6/82.
It is a soft spike facility and appropriate golf attire is required. Weekly events are scheduled and include things like scramble day, ladies’ day, men’s day and Jack and Jill day. On Saturday mornings, Footgolf, which is played with a size 5 soccer ball, is offered on the front nine only.
Annual events include Free Footgolf introduction day, the Halloween Glowball Tournament, and Trick or Treat. There is no driving range, but they have a net you can hit into. Although they don’t have a grill or restaurant, they do have a snack bar.
